What's a dewar?

Its like a big vacuum flask for keeping things cold, and around the height of a person but with quite a narrow opening at the top, so if you drop something down to the bottom its really really annoying.
Did you manage to get it out in the end?

Yeah, I did. I have a photo of that too but its not very clear.
