Dear Stan Nonin

Tempted as I am by the offer of $50 to buy this blog, and slack as I have been updating it, I am sorry but I do not wish to accept.

Yours,

Alex

Dear poor neglected readers,

I am very sorry, perhaps I will post an update soon, but I am not making any promises.

Alex

So you heard from Stan, too.

I'm trying to puzzle out what, if any, his game is. He offered $150 for a perfectly worthless domain. I googled "Stan Nonin" name and found my way here.

Very odd.

Funny this dude must make the rounds... I was also contacted by him, he must not be a very big fan of my blog, or else he would have noticed that I just started updating again... Jeez I don't post for a few months and people are trying to scam me out of a years worth of posts. I don't think so Mr. "Stan Nonin", if that is your real name!

I just received an offer also. This can't be legitimate. Why would anyone be willing to offer $150 for a blogspot domain?

Ditto. Maybe to get paid you have to disclose bank account info or anyway he gets you there via Nigeria or whatever. It's flattering and endearing, isn't it, to have your name valued as worth buying? If it's a scam, my hat's off to Stan for elevating the tone of ripping people off online.

Got the same offer today from "Stan." Funny that he is offering $50 to some people and $150 to others.

My guess is that he (whoever he is) buying up blogs that have been up for a while (and therefore has a search engine presence) and will be changing it to one those annoying ad blogs - after he steals your bank info.

Like Jack, I found this post when I googled "Stand Nonin." Google is our friend. But as soon as he sees this, I'm sure his "name" will change.

Just received an offer of $ 60 for my skill gaming site's domain. The business that is run on that domain is worth > $ 10 mio. dollars. I told him the domain is not for sale but he can buy the business with the domain for that price. Googled him and found my way here...

ya. I only got a $60 offer on a domain that I've been running for over ten years. I'm glad people are googling and posting when they receive these sort of scams to let others know about them. Thanks guys.

I was offered $60 plus any renewal related expenses.

I also just got an email and offer from him... for a site that I was previously offered $50,000 for. (I turned it down.) But his offer for $60 had me very tempted... :)

I was offered a measly $25 for a domain I paid $1,500 for two years ago (that hosts a site that's worth much, much more). No thanks, Stan!

I have been receiving emails from this parasite for more than a month about the different domains I have registered under my name (more than 500).
I was kind at first and declined his $60 offer per domain. Then I blocked him.
Today he called my registrar and requested to move one of my domains. So they sent me an email with instructions to recuperate my password. Needless to say I know my password by heart. I am not sure if his constant emails are just a ploy to hack my email address then steal my domains, but I locked all my domains and changed my passwords just to be safe.
