Wow, you got some amazing shots there. How high is the peak? How long did it take? It looks like a great trip. Is that (the wooden building) a hotel or hostel you stayed in?
The peak was 2900m. Sorry I was planning to do a write up of the trip, it was pretty amazing. We did it over two days, and stayed at that hostel, along with about 300 other people (though they mostly came up by cable car).
Japanese mountains are really tough, they just go straight up!
